The sighting for the start of Jumaadal Ulaa 1446 shall be on Sat 2nd Nov 2024.

If sighted, 1st Jumaadal Ulaa 1446, shall be on Sun 3rd Nov 2024. Otherwise, Rabi al Awwal 1446, in South Africa, will last 30 days, with 1st Jumaadal Ulaa 1446 falling on Mon 4th Nov 2024, in-sha-Allah.

UUCSA will announce the official results of moon-sighting after confirmation procedures have been completed during Thursday evening, in-sha-Allah.

We urge all Muslims and congregations to go out and seek the sighting of the moon, according to the Sunnah for the determination of the starting and ending of the Hijri months.
