The sighting for the start of Dhu al Qa‘da 1446 shall be on Monday 28 Apr 2025. If sighted, 1st Dhu al Qa‘da will be on Tuesday 29 Apr 2025.

 

Otherwise, Shawwal 1446 will last 30 days, with 1st Dhu al Qa‘da 1446, falling on Wednesday 30 Apr 2025, in-sha-Allah.

 

UUCSA will announce the official results of moon-sighting after confirmation procedures have been completed during Monday evening, in-sha-Allah.

 

We urge all Muslims and congregations to go out and seek the sighting of the moon, according to the Sunnah for the determination of the starting and ending of the Hijri months.
