The sighting for the start of Dhu al Hijjah 1444 shall be on Mon 19 June 2023. If sighted, 1st Dhu al Hijjah 1444 shall be on Tue 20th June 2023.

 

Otherwise, Dhu al Qa’da 1444 will last 30 days, with 1st Dhu al Hijjah 1444 falling on Wed 21st June 2023, in-sha-Allah.

 

UUCSA will announce the official results of moon-sighting after confirmation procedures have been completed during Monday evening, in-sha-Allah.

 

We urge all Muslims and congregations to go out and seek the sighting of the moon, according to the Sunnah for the determination of the starting and ending of the Hijri months.
