The sighting for the month and the start of Dhu al Hijjah 1446 shall be on Wed 28 May 2025.

If sighted, 1st Dhu al Hijjah 1446 will be on Thu 29th May 2025. Otherwise, Dhu al Qa‘da will last 30 days, with 1st Dhu al Hijjah 1446 falling on Fri 30th May 2025, in-sha-Allah.

UUCSA will announce the official results of moon-sighting after confirmation procedures have been completed during Wednesday evening, in-sha-Allah.

We urge all Muslims and congregations to go out and seek the sighting of the moon, according to the Sunnah for the determination of the starting and ending of the Hijri months.
