Due to no confirmed #hilaal sighting reports in the evening of Tue, 07 Sep 2021, The United Ulama Council of South Africa has determined that Muharram in South Africa ends with 30 days, on Wed 08 Sep 2021. 1st Safar 1443 will therefore be on Thu 09 Sep 2021, in-sha-Allah.

 

The Jamiatul Ulama South Africa’s Central Hilaal Committee acts on behalf of UUCSA in the coordination of the sighting of the moon.
