Consequently, in South Africa, the 1st day of the Rabi ‘al Thani 1447 corresponds to Wednesday 24th September 2025, in-sha-Allah.

The Jamiatul Ulama South Africa’s Central Hilaal Committee acts on behalf of UUCSA in the coordination of the sighting of the moon. The next sighting of the moon for the determination of the start of Jumaadal Ulaa 1447, shall be on Wednesday 22nd October 2025. At sunset in Johannesburg, the Hilâl will be 27 Hours 52 Minutes, in-sha-Allah.
