The sighting for the start of the month of Rabi ‘al Awwal 1447 shall be on Sun 24 Aug 2025.

If sighted, 1st Rabi ‘al Awwal 1447 will be on Mon 25th Aug 2025. Otherwise, Safar 1447 will last 30 days, with 1st Rabi ‘al Awwal 1447 falling on Tue 26th Aug 2025, in-sha-Allah.

UUCSA will announce the official results of moon-sighting after confirmation procedures have been completed during Sunday evening, in-sha-Allah.
