The Jamiatul Ulama South Africa’s Central Hilaal Committee acts on behalf of UUCSA in the coordination of the sighting of the moon. The next sighting of the moon for the determination of the start of Jumaadal Aakhirah 1447, shall be on Thursday 20th November 2025. At sunset in Johannesburg, the Hilâl will be 09 Hours 50 Minutes, in-sha-Allah.
